Nikita nodded, then turned and headed off down the hallway. Her posture indicated that she expected to be followed. Above them, watching through a hidden window, Psych glanced at Directer and raised an eyebrow.
Thomas nodded and everyone piled through the truck, disappearing over the railing on the far side of the street. Thomas began running the way they'd been going, bent low so his eyes were only a few feet from the ground. He was still moving at a good thirty or forty miles an hour.

Nik followed with ease the pack following them.
Bella followed Nikita, hoping this wish would be granted. Anything that would tell her where she was at would at least make her feel better. She stopped after a while and bit her lip. A nagging feeling was in her that there was someone watching her.

A narrow corridor led to the surface, a shack in the middle of an area that looked like it used to be an urban munitions testing site, or a landfill. The horizon was completely blocked by rubble, with a large open area in the middle. The shack they had exited was one of only two actual structures, the other being a garage. At this time, there were several men and women arranged along the tops of the rubble piles, though how they got there was not readily apparent. There was no way up the piles.
It didn't take long before Thomas accelerated to about fifty miles per hour to bypass a cloverleaf intersection, and a few miles past, turned onto an industrial road.

The pack followed him with a little trouble with keeping up with speed. They could, however keep him in sight for now.
Bella breathed in the fresh air and streached her muscles when they got up. With a small clench and release in her stomach, she had turned into her wolf form and started doing laps around the lawn. As far as she could see, there was no escape. Hope of finding a way to escape still was in her mind. But for now she decided to play their little game. If they were watching her, they could be able to at least make some notes on how to deal with her kind properly.

Nikita leaned against the shack, watching her. The sun began to set.
Once Thomas was out of sight of the cloverleaf, he stopped and waited for the wolves to catch up before continuing at an easy twenty-miles and hour or so.

Bella continued to run, taking in her fill considerig she's been confined for days.
Nikolai smiled as they caught up gave a nod to Thomas to continue. He could sense the other wolves begining to loose trust in the vampire, but he wasn't.

The sun dropped below the horizon. Still, Thomas led the way as the industrial road ran past factories and lots, gradually becoming narrower and less-well preserved.

A ripple went down Bella's body as she felt her pack come closer. She sat on her haunches and gave a howl.

"Well, shit." Thomas grinned and accelerated. The fence came into view quickly. Government Property, no trespassing. Warning: Unexploded munitions present. Thomas pulled out a knife and proceeded to cut through enough of the fence to squeeze through. Then they had the backdrop, an impassable earth mound. He crouched there for a moment, staring up at the back of a guard.
"I will have to fly over and retrieve her myself. I expect they have her outside, since the driveway is blocked."
When she howled, a couple men dropped to their knees and turned to scan the area outside, but the rescue team was still too far away at the time.

Nik looked at Thomas. He breathed in hearing Bella's howl. "She probably finally convinced them to let her out to run. A week a month she runs to tire out the she-wolf so the full moon is bearable." He explained
Bella continued her run howling again.

Thomas unbuttoned his trench coat and leapt into the air, flying straight over the embankment to land next to Belladonna, holding out a hand. "Let me take you away."
He reeked of vampire. Even as he spoke, the guards opened fire, to no avail.
Nikita just stood, watching.

Bella gave a small whine (she is still in wolf form) as the guns fired. Her eyes blinked and she turned back to human sans clothing. The smell was horrid but she'd take him over the place she was at.

He landed outside the embankment and set her on her feet, shaking several bullets out of his coat. "Gonna have to replace that." He took of the coat and wrapped it around her. It smelled of humans.

Bella looked at him her heart pounding. Her hands touched the coat as she put it on. Her hair was windblown and wild. "Th...thank-you" She said. She then felt someone push her away as a shot was fired. Her eyes looked as Nik fell on the ground from being shot by a silver bullet.

Several more bullets slammed into her back, embedding themselves harmlessly in the heavy material as Thomas dropped down to Nik. "Fool wolf. Why do you think I gave it to her?" As he spoke, his eyes glowed red, and the bullet popped out of him. But the damage was done. He picked Nik up and slung him over a shoulder, then took off down the road, ripping a cord on a slim pack he was wearing. A balloon shot up into the air, and he dropped into a crouch, pulling Bella in front of him.
Aircraft engines approached from the south.
