"Legends of disappearing aisle." She said watching as he swam closer. "I'm certain they will see your yacht. And then wonder why it is abandoned." The dolphin pressed close to her as he came close. "I could send a siren call for help...."

"The yacht still has a full crew and its owner aboard. We were just passengers." he realized the mistake and slapped his forehead. It sounded almost metalic. "We aren't just sailors. We're Navy SEALs."

Christine heard the sound and she pressed as much as she could against the rock (like she couldn't get any closer). "So those in the yacht knows about this place as well. After all, they would have watched to where you were going in your raft." She then breathed in. Maybe they weren't the malevolent people she sensed but those in the yacht.
(Still can't believe they are so calm and not trying to capture a real live mermaid)

((They have a mission. The mission comes first. Winning the locals comes second, and she's obviously intelligent.))
"Sorry. Half my skull had to be replaced by metal after an accident."
Duckfoot and Weaver, the last two SEALs, came out onto the beach and launched a net over her.
"The fuck?" Nasty pulled a knife from his belt and slashed the net, just as a shark came into the cove, heading straight for her dolphin. He finished slashing the net just enough for them to escape, then turned and plunged the knife into the shark's gills.
"Get out of the water. I'm sorry." Grabbing the still-thrashing shark by the gills, he started hauling it toward the beach. Duckfoot and Weaver looked disappointed, but helped bring in the shark. They barely got out in time, as a dozen other sharks swarmed the cove.
"We may need to worry about the ship's crew, Weaver. Run and tell the Captain."

Christine watched as her dolphin was attacked and went under the water. The next thing she knew she too had a net over her and she struggled, her tail getting caught. She eyed Nasty as he freed her and she went to the land. The moment she touched dried land, her tail reverted back to her bare human legs and she coughed out the seawater she had swallowed in surprise. Her eyes turned trying to see her friend, but she saw nothing. The sharks were having a frenzy in red water and she hid her tears. She still wore the top that the Captain gave her, but she was still bare from the waist down. Her violet eyes looked at Nasty. "Th...thankyou."

Nasty turned and waded back into the water. He came out soon with her dolphin, which he placed on the beach.
"Captain, Nasty. Full crew to beach. Medkits and water."
Within ten minutes, a trench had been dug and filled with water for the dolphin, and its wounds were being treated. Duckfoot began prepping the shark they'd pulled in.
"Who wants fish for dinner?"
"Dewey," Nasty scolded him.

Christine ignored the fact she had a bare bottom, instead she was by the dolphin's side clicking encouragements to her friend. Trying to distract the animal from them working on the wounds. Her hair began to curl a bit from the salt water. She hated seeing the paleness of her friend's skin.

Once the wounds were treated, Nasty sat back. "The captain wasn't kidding. You really are beautiful... in both forms."

One of the men nodded appreciating the view of the mermaid's butt.
Christine looked at the cover trying to see if the sharks were gone. She knew the dolphin needed to go into the water. With the silence she looked around. She then blushed remembering that she didn't have pants. Carefully she moved to the tree line where she hid a few of the clothes she hid. Soon she had a sarong on.

"You take the time to hide clothes on an island nobody knows about," Nasty points out.
The sharks vacate the cove, and Nasty carries the dolphin back to the salt water.

Christine blushed. "Sometimes it gets cold at night." She said going to the water as well to kiss her pet's nose. Her hand brushed against his and she moved away. "I'm sorry."
One of the crew members looked at the Captain. "What do we do with her? She knows about the mission."

"It's her island. She has a right to," Patricia pointed out.
"It's okay. But you hid them. Why not just stick them on the nearest branch?"

She shook her head. "Why do you hide your clothes in a closet or dresser? It's just something we do." She said with a smile.
"But what do we do with her wen we leave?" He asked.

Patricia thought about that for a moment, then Cherry raised his hand. "I'm single."
"No," Nasty said, then thought about it. "but I would be willing to stay on the island."

"You guys don't need to stay here." Christine said. "I can take care of myself. I'm not some sort of wilting flower who is weak on land. I have a life."
