Comparing an MA5C bullpup assault rifle to a modern bullpup assault rifle:
Rate of Fire MA5C: 600 rpm FAMAS: 900-1100 rpm
Muzzle Velocity MA5C: 905 m/s (2970 ft/s) FAMAS: 960 m/s (3,100 ft/s) OR 925 m/s (3,030 ft/s)
The FAMAS is a definite winner.

GAU 23/AW/Linkless Feed Autocannon
Guess what, this Halo weapon is nothing more or less than the M134 minigun. They are, in fact, exactly the same.

LAU-65D/SGM-151
The modern version is single shot, and takes almost 10 seconds to reload. Nuff said.

M247 General Purpose Machine Gun
RoF: 360 rpm Damage: medium
Look at just 3 modern LIGHT machine guns. These actually weight considerably less than the M247.
HK21E Rate of fire: 800 rpm (more than twice) This one is also longer range than the others.
M249 (The Ubiquitous SAW) Rate of fire: 1,000 rounds per minute (nearly 3 times the rpm)
MG36 Rate of fire: 750 rounds/min cyclic I chose this one for its high level of damage.

M319 Individual Grenade Launcher
What the heck? Just attach an M203 to your gun.

M6 PDW (.50-caliber Magnum pistol)
With weapons of this type, muzzle velocity doesn't much matter. All that matters is magazine capacity.
M6G: 8 rounds Desert Eagle: 10-rounds extended.
The M6D has two more rounds than the Desert Eagle, but its range is even less than the M6G.
The M6C/SOCOM is unique, in that it is a silenced high-caliber weapon.
I say, use of the Desert Eagle continued alongside the M6. Which gun was used was simply a matter of choice for the user.

Okay, now the SMG. Let's see how this little sucker measures up.
RoF M7: 900 rpm MP7: 950 rounds/min
Muzzle Velocity M7:427 m/s (1400 f/s) MP7: Approx. 725 m/s (2,379 ft/s)
Range M7: 50 meters (155 ft) MP7: 200m
The M7 actually looks very similar to the MP7, but obviously doesn't measure up in any area. The MP7 is better in every way.

Flamethrowers in any context are pointless these days, but if they must be used, the WWII M2 flamethrower has nearly 10 times the range of the M7057.

"Clickety-Boom!"
I don't even have to look at the stats. Since shotguns are only supposed to be used at short range anyway, it makes sense to use the one that does the most damage, so long as you can handle it. If you can use an 8-guage, go ahead. But if not, go with a modern weapon.

Sniper Rifle
To compare with the SRS99C-S2 I propose two rifles.
SR25-SD is semi-automatic, 1 rps, allowing for reaim. It usually has a scope offering 6x/12x zoom, which is that much closer than a 10x zoom. It is also silenced.
The PSG-1 is similar in every way but, due to not being silenced, has a little more range.
The S2 variant takes care of the RoF problem, but I would still use a modern scope rather than the one it comes with.
