USS Defiant: This vessel is rather small but heavily armed, flying circles around most of the other Federation vessels, and outgunning most of them as well.

Excelsior Class This vessel is a very old design, rather clumsy-looking, and slightly larger than the Prometheus.

USS Venture/Galaxy Class The Venture is the only one with three nacelles (the tubes on the back). The rest have two. There are three altogether in the battle. Nevertheless, they are all the largest vessels there.

USS Intrepid This vessel is also new, and is nearly flying circles around the Defiant, despite being three times its size, about half the size of the Galaxy class.
