The sun beat down upon the Egyptian desert. After a night of sandstorms, it was a blessing to be back out on the sight of a mysterious tomb that appeared within the past week. The small camp was more than a normal archeological camp. This one was filled with witches and wizards working on breaking the curses and spells prior to the muggle camps arriving. A rustle emitted from one of the tents as a young woman stepped out from the tent. Her green eyes looked around the horizon until they rested on a tall figure. A smile pressed across her face as she walked towards it.
Jasmine Reynolds, no correct that, Jasmine Brewster gently wrapped her arms around her husband’s torso in a hug. “Some night last night.” She said to him softly as a welcome. Her long red hair was tied up into a high ponytail to keep from her eyes. She wore simple khaki capris and a light blue gingham button down shirt that was tied off at the waist to show off her midriff. “Were you in the tomb all night?” She asked.

Micah had been wading through a small zombie horde, something most wizards seemed to have trouble with, at least this version. Only straight-up combat could destroy these ones, and that meant Micah and his security team.
He smiled, hugging her with a kiss. "Not all night. Came out to clear the tents as soon as the sand dropped to dust."
The breakfast bell sounded. Mr. Basilio, the Naga chef who had accompanied them from Icmelier, had finished cooking.

Jasmine turned her head towards the cooking tent and she sighed. Upon finding out of her pregnancy Mr. Basilio had made it mandatory for her to be at every meal right when it was made no exceptions. "We better hurry before cobra has a hissy fit." She said softly. "I can't wait to get my hands in that tunnel though. The hieroglyphs in them looked awesome."

"They felt awesome. Whatever was placed on that tunnel was more than just a zombie tripwire," he explained as they walked to the kitchen gent.
Rice pudding, French toast, eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

Jasmine picked up her tray and smiled up at Mr. Basilio. "Thankyou. It looks and smells wonderful." She told him before going to a table and eating. "Think Ani might bee needed in that section?" She asked taking a bite of food. She was thankful for Ani's help in the morning sickness department.

Micah nodded. "It definitely was powerful, and undetectable until it hits you. You're actually lucky they put the zombie trigger at the entrance to the hall. Probably saved your lives."

Jasmine nodded as she continued to eat. "It's the job we're supposed to do. Make the site safe for the muggles who are coming in a month." She sat back in a thought. "I actually have several concerns I want to find out. Why this tomb appeared. Who the tomb is for. And is it actually something else. According to the reports, no dynasty or civilization was near here to make this place what it is. So getting those glyphs is what's needed first." Her green eyes looked up at him.

He chuckled. "Not to worry, you're quickly looking like being the best curse-breaker the ministry has ever had." Every time he spoke every eye turned toward him. Alone of the people on the expedition, his team did not speak with British accents, and only Micah spoke with an American, even perhaps a hint of southern accent. A moment silence, then he added, "Except me, of course, but I'm not an official employee." Everyone was finishing up and more than half had left the mess tent to prepare. The curse breakers were donning special enchanted robes, while Basilio donned an unusual splint-mail sleeve and the other security man put on his heavy plate. He had not yet been given reason to reveal it, which was good considering what many of the curse-breakers had gone through in their first couple years at Hogwarts, but he was a lycan.
((Background, the oldest curse-breaker there was a fifth-year when Voldemort attacked Hogwarts with his army, and helped extensively with setting up traps.))

Jasmine nodded and got up to get around. In the privacy of the mess tent and only in front of Micah's eyes she turned into Rajani, her eyes belonging to Jasmine's of course. Ani look at Micah and closed her eyes in thought. "A Snake Goddess used to rule this area." She said simply. "But there are hints of Twilli." Carefully she summoned a thick burlaplike cloth to cover her from the harsh sun. Soon some more of Jasmine's features blended seamlessly in as a hybrid of the two. They were still getting used to a fully symbiotic existence, especially when Ani wanted to make sure Jasmine was protected completely. "Mr. Basilio will be helpful in translating some of the glyphs I can't. Jasmine is only a translator not a breaker." She reminded.
((Lol...thinking of the desert dungeon in Twilight Princess for this, but not as ornate on top...yet))

"Considering he claims to be the son of a snake goddess, I'm not surprised." Micah said wryly, planting a kiss on her lips before summoning his own armor.
Basilio and the lycan were waiting outside with the curse breakers. Basilio was also carrying two ancient Egyptian scythes, which he spun absently every now and then.

She smiled when he kissed her and pulled the hood up over head before they walked out. Her eyes looked over at Basilio as they made their way to the structure. When inside she looked around at the structures. Ani could feel her stomach pull to the Twilli past that were once there. Several curse breakers were there already with several guards preparing to go down other halls. Carefully she went to her assigned area and got straight to work.

Basilio slithered to a hieroglyph wall and started muttering in ancient Egyptian as his eyes scanned the wall. He suddenly pointed at a group of hieroglyphs, dead silent. He would rather die than speak those words.

Ani turned when he stopped and went to his side. "What is it Mr. Basilio?" She asked kindly. "These glyphs are foreign to even me." Her green eyes tried to translate.

"I know them, but will not speak them. They are a curse, the oldest here perhaps."

Ani moved and brought her sketch book out so she could draw the glyph passage that they were in front of. After a while her hand reached out touch them. The gold highlights in her hair shimmering softly. "For what I wonder." She spoke out loud.
((would be nice to know what it is))
