Amdir checked the rope tied around his waist, then dove out of the saddle. The rope was quite long, and the sudden stop at the end drove the wind out of his lungs. But that was okay. Unslinging his bow, he knocked an arrow, and fired at the exposed back of the ra'zak mounted on its flying beast. Somehow, it sensed it, and dodged, then spun to attack. Seeing the rope, the beast flew at that, intending to cut it, but the rider was too fast. Slinging his bow, he began flipping his way back up the rope, barely getting above the beast's head, then released himself, drawing his swords as he did, to lop off the beast's head just ahead of the shoulders. Grinning behind his mask, he winked at the startled Ra'zak, throwing a cocky salute with his sword as the creature tumbled past him on the remains of its mount. As he pulled himself back up to his saddle, Onyx snorted. Pretty good, for a first time. Ah, don't be so hard on yourself. You did great! Personally, I was amazing. They both laughed as they flew down to the ground to make sure the Ra'zak was dead.
