"Get him plugged in. Find out who or what it is," General Colton spouted.
Ivan awoke in his bed at the barracks, thought quickly. "Oh hell this is the damn day I got to go drinking with the King. Dammit Sunstar." Glanced back in the bed, chuckled a bit. "Damn, Tailani, I wish you could help with this chore. I'll do a quick sweep and I'll meet him in a courtyard in a few hours. I was remarkably efficient today I even got to check the walls."
As he stepped into the Courtyard, "Oh thank God he's already drunk. Hey, you're behind me by a bottle, bottle and a half maybe 3. All right he's only got Heidi in here. The horror duo is probably back in the dungeon sewing a couple of corpses together seeing how long they can make it twitch. Heidi still stress eating I see. Whatever it is Let It Go because if I've got to get you out of here nobody's going to believe you're not a noble that Hefty."
Several hours later and two hogsheads of wine in between them. Frederick waltzed in. "Everything is in position would you mind doing the honors? Ivan pulled the bag of marbles from his coat pocket. He pulled a white one and a green one, held them over a dirty segment of the table, looked back at Frederick. He nodded, dropped the white one couple seconds later dropped the green one. A moment later they felt a shake run through the room. "Problem is solved with the rebels."
At that moment a clean sound rang out from Heidi's blouse. She fumbled for a second pulling out a little jar and in that jar an angry little man confused and bewildered. She stated, "I got this." It looked as though the little man had lost his air.
Frederick tapped the table three times and before them the table showed the hallway to the Courtyard. In that hallway stood a fake Sunstar in full Robed Glory. On the other end burst forth an angry Ravenswood running straight into the fake King. Slatekiller ran straight through. There was a flurry of wire, blood, and gore. A few seconds later a crystallized Ravenswood stood in the hall. The mesh of wire grabbed the sword in its chest. As it pulled it out the blade crumbled to dust.
Then the meat that was scattered around the hallway congealed around the wire mesh creating a horrific shifting form. "Uhh Frederick what do we do about the mesh?"
"Let it find itself besides we have 9 more."
Ivan leaned back. "I'm going to bed."
Sunstar shouted, "We still have more to drink!"
Ivan then sneered and shouted, "Piss off I'm done." Staggered down the other hallway straight to his room.
Once he reached the doorway, it shifted from his room to Frederick's boathouse in the bay. Frederick was on the floor half eaten, guts splayed about. "That should have been our destiny instead you did this."
"Don't regret it one bit. If that was my fate there I'm glad I went the other way." With that the mess melted into just the skin. Ivan grabbed the clump of skin and tossed it into the fireplace. A flash of everything the Fatman knew but this time it kept and everything went white.
